This blog is dedicated to being “here”. As easy as it is to dwell on the possibility of the future or highs and lows of the past, we are part of the large number of Americans yearning to focus on the simple joys, the contentment of being where and when we are. The deep spiritual connection that comes from having your feet on dirt and your hands at task. How to integrate this simple life with a modern world, and how not to.
Almost four years ago my husband, Jaron, and I embarked on the journey to find this more simple lifestyle. It’s deliberate. And meandering. So far it has taken us from southern California to small-town Illinois to Nashville, TN and eliminated about two thirds of our income, one car and a lot of stress. We’ve gained more time for the things we love and healthier bodies. We invite you to come with us, give us your input, and hold us accountable. If there’s one thing we’ve learned so far, it’s that we are slow to recognize it when we’ve begun to make our lives unduly complicated.

Thanks for stopping by. I was hoping I could find a link to a song or something after reading that you’re working on an album. Send me a link if you have something online I can listen to.

Hi Everett, Thanks for asking! Currently we only have samples from our band, which you can hear at http://www.myspace.com/siwasmusic. As soon as we have the new project back from mixing, we’ll launch a website where you can it! Hope you enjoy.
